67.1% of the population had used the Internet in the last three months, that is, almost 23.2 million persons. The number of Internet users has increased 4.5% as compared with 2010.
Number of individuals, expressed as a percentage of the total population or in thousands (‘000), who have accessed the Internet in the last three months, by means of any equipment or access technology and from anywhere.
Study based on telephone and personal interviews. The theoretical sample size comprises 24,972 houses and 3,922 reserves. Therefore 28,894 houses have been visited. One person aged 15 years old or over is selected from each house; likewise, information is obtained on all children aged 10 to 15 years old residing in the family home. For 2002 and 2003, data refers to Spanish population aged 15 or over.
From 2003 onwards, data refers to Spanish population aged 16-74.
