
Data for 2010 show number of enterprises sharing electronically information on sales or on purchases with the software declining. The percentage stands at 40%, 2 percentage points less than in the previous year.
There are important differences between the 27 European countries. While countries like Austria and Ireland have percentages of 59% and 57% respectively, others like Lithuania and Poland hardly reach 25%.
Spain is one of the few countries in the European Union experiencing growth in this sense. Specifically, it has increased 4 percentage points, standing 16 p. p. above the EU-27 average.
