The National Observatory for Telecommunications and the Information Society (ONTSI) is jointly developing a project with other entities and autonomous institutions, dedicated to the study of the Information Society, aimed at preparing and reaching a consensus on a unified metric that will enable the implementation of the Information Society in Spain to be measured in a reliable way.

To this end, thematic work groups comprised of different representatives of the Autonomous Regions with which it will work jointly and for an extended time period have been formed.
